Brandi N. Schnell - Executive Board President (2026-2027)

Brandi N. Schnell is the Community Outreach Coordinator and Special Projects Manager for the Lorain County Solid Waste Management District where she has worked for the past 19 years, and recently celebrated the accomplishment of obtaining 100% ratification for the Lorain County Solid Waste Management Plan. Brandi also acts as the Director of Keep Lorain County Beautiful. Brandi was born and raised in Cleveland before moving to Lorain County where she attended Brookside High School and then went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Kent State University. Brandi currently resides in North Ridgeville.

Rachel Sizer - Executive Board Vice-President (2026-2027)

Rachel Sizer is the Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Bowling Green, starting in 2024. Previously she worked as the Recycling Outreach Coordinator for the Wood County Solid Waste Management District. She graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy in 2022.

Chris Hoffman - Executive Board Treasurer (2026-2027)

Chris Hoffman is the Executive Director at Montgomery County Environmental Services. He has been an OALPRP member for 13 years, has served on the Board for 12 years, and currently serves on the Executive Committee as the Treasurer for the Organization.

Alexa Schwaderer - Executive Board Secretary (2026-2027)

Alexa Schwaderer is the District Office Coordinator and Environmental Educator for Auglaize County Solid Waste Management District located in Saint Marys, Ohio. She had worked with Solid Waste Plan Updates, grants, site operations, education, and more over the last nine years. Alexa has been active on the OALPRP since 2016.

Amanda Gamby - Executive Board Past-President (2026-2027)

A graduate of Bowling Green State University’s Environmental Policy program, Amanda has been in the Environmental Education/Communications field for over twenty years. She served as the Environmental Educator with the Wood County Solid Waste Management District providing presentations, tours, events, and programming on recycling, solid waste disposal, composting, and other environmental sustainability related topics for twelve years. She left the County a little over 7 years ago to fill the role of the City of Bowling Green’s first Sustainability Coordinator. Amanda was recently promoted to the City’s Communications Director in 2023. Amanda has been a member of the Ohio Association of Litter Prevention & Recycling Professionals (OALPRP) since 2006 and currently serves as Past President of the OALPRP Board of Directors. She also serves as a Library Board Trustee for her hometown Library.

Julie Riley - Board of Directors (2025-2026)

Julie Riley has operated in the public sector for the last 30 years. Since 2019, She has operated as the Lucas County Solid Waste Management District Manager. Julie actively participates in several boards focused around sustainability and solid waste management.

Keri Murphy - Board of Directors (2025-2026)

Keri Murphy graduated from Muskingum University with B.S. degree in Conservation Science. Keri is the Environmental Specialist for Lancaster-Fairfield Community Action Agency Recycling & Litter Prevention since 2019.

Alex Nelson - Board of Directors (2025-2026)

Alex Nelson graduated from the University of Mount Union with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science in 2019. After gaining experience in environmental education and natural resources, she moved back home to Coshocton County where has served as Director and Education Specialist for Coshocton County Recycling and Litter Prevention for the last 3 years. When she isn’t at work, you can find her reading, traveling with her family, and spending time outside with her dog, Aspen! Alongside OALPRP, she is also a member of the Coshocton Hot Air Balloon Festival Committee, the Coshocton Empower-HER Network Committee, and the Courthouse Illumination Committee. Alex is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of so many incredible groups, the sense of community they foster, and the countless opportunities for involvement and growth that have been made possible because of them.

Louise Holliday - Board of Directors (2025-2026)

Louise Holliday is the Jefferson County Environmental Educator of the Jefferson-Belmont Regional Solid Waste Authority. When doing classroom presentations/activities are, aligned with Ohio Department of Education Standards in Science, Mathematics and English. As the Environmental Educator, Louise is instrumental in planning and implementing recycling and litter prevention education and awareness campaigns for the Jefferson-Belmont Regional Solid Waste Authority. Louise has been employed for 35 years with the Clean Community System Steubenville/Wintersville, Jefferson County Recycling and Litter Prevention, and the Jefferson-Belmont Regional Solid Waste Authority (JB Green Team). Her goals are to educate the next generation and adults about the importance of sustainability, the three R’s, (Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle) and to restore “PRIDE” within the Jefferson/Belmont County residents and greater community.

Krista Fourman Unger - Board of Directors (2026-2027)

Krista Fourman-Unger has been the Director for Darke County Solid Waste Management District since 2007. She has actively served on the OALPRP Board since 2012 and continues to support the mission of the organization.

Sam Perin - Board of Directors (2025-2026)

Sam Perin is the Program Manager for the Clark County Solid Waste Management District. He continues to be amazing in all that he does.

Matthew Baugher - Board of Directors (2026-2027)

Matthew Baugher started as the Program Manager for Knox County Recycling and Litter Prevention in October 2020. He is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Environment, Economy, Development and Sustainability (2019). He most enjoys running the annual River Rally and teaching children about the environment.

Dorene Unterzuber - Board of Directors (2026-2027)

Dorene Unterzuber is the Education Coordinator for the Belmont County office of the JB Green Team. She is a graduate of Wheeling University with a BA in Communications. She has multiple years in the environmental area, beginning at the National Technology Transfer Center where she worked on the State EPA Outreach Program for West Virginia. She became the Education Coordinator for the JB Green Team in 2007 and was with the JB Green Team for 10 years. She returned to the position in 2025 after working in the corporate accounting department for Ogden Newspapers. Dorene currently lives in Saint Clairsville where she enjoys crafts and baking and spending time with her family.

Zachary Nemec - Board of Directors (2026-2027)

Zachary Nemec graduated from Bowling Green State University with a B.S. in Environmental Science. He worked as an intern for BGSU's Office of Campus Sustainability and is currently the Outreach & Program Planner for the Wood County Solid Waste Management District. He was excited to join at Wood County since he could give back to the community in which he grew up, while doing what he loves. His first OALPRP experience occurred at the 2024 Summer Workshop, just one month after he began this position, and loves that we all work together as one team to support recycling and litter prevention initiatives in Ohio.

Election Results: This year’s election is complete, and the results have been verified. All Officers and Board Members were elected as presented on the ballot.
